Choosing the best homeschool curriculum for your child is hard for every parent - but it can seriously feel impossible if you're homeschooling a child with complex needs. 

I'm here to change that! I'm in the beginning stages of developing a comprehensive, hands on, evidence based homeschool curriculum for homeschoolers with disabilities. In order to make the very best curriculum possible, I'm wanting your help. I'm seeking 10-15 families to participate in a focus group that will help guide my creation of this curriculum. Families that are in the focus group will receive the curriculum for free in exchange for their suggestions and feedback. 

In order to participate in the focus group, families will meet the following requirements:

• Currently homeschooling a child with a disability such as autism, an intellectual disability, medically complex needs, etc. *OR considering homeschooling in the future
• Your child is working on "early learning" skills (colors, numbers, letters). 
• Your child fits one of the following descriptions:
  • Description 1: My child is an emergent learner. They cannot yet sit and attend to "traditional" learning activities, like worksheets. They likely learn best through movement, play, sensory exploration, and through skills modeled by their parents over time. 
  • Description 2: My child is able to attend to short and structured learning tasks with support from a parent.  They also benefit from learning through movement, play, and sensory exploration.

 In addition to meeting these requirements, parents should be willing to:  

• Complete an initial 20 minute online survey (linked below)
• Have a 30 minute zoom or phone call with Grace 
• Complete monthly 10 minute online surveys every month for the next 4-6 months 
• Potentially implement activities of the curriculum with your child and give meaningful feedback and suggestions
